D.Jays Biltong was founded
in 1990 by Derek Loewenstein and his wife Jo. They emigrated to
Australia from South Africa bringing with them 20 years of expertise
in the manufacture of quality beef products. Derek and Jo
immediately recognised and pursued the opportunities presented by
the marketing of a genuine, quality biltong product in Australia.
They have worked tirelessly to this end building a highly successful
and rapidly growing business based in Perth.
In 1998 D.Jays moved into their purpose built, state-of-the-art factory in Malaga, Perth.
The factory is designed to satisfy the most stringent health requirements meeting the highest possible “Australian Export Standards”.
